It is a national event, championed by Dame Sarah Storey, which aims to encourage everyone to take two wheels and cycle to work for just one day.

In 2013 and 2014 tens of thousands of commuters hit the streets and cycled over half a million miles for Cycle to Work Day. Hundreds of employers and cycling advocacy groups have also supported the day, whose main target is to see a million people regularly cycle commuting by 2021.

Outcomes:
High interest by employees for participation.
Free and simple access to participation.
The cycling parade and possibility to win prizes.
